Το μεγάλο αυτό καλλιτεχνικό γεγονός θα διαφημιστεί μέσω χορηγών επικοινωνίας σε ποικίλα Μ.Μ.Ε εντός και εκτός Ελλάδος, μέσω των social media καθώς και μέσω προωθητικών ενεργειών από τον Δήμο της Ύδρας. Ένα από τα γνωστότερα και διεθνώς αναγνωρισμένα ζευγάρια του χώρου, οι Αργεντινοί Pablo Medici και η Veronica Kuttel, οι πρώτες χορευτές που φέρανε την τέχνη του tango από την Αργεντινή στην χώρα μας, πριν την έναρξη του workshop στην Ύδρα, θα πραγματοποιήσουν παράλληλα περιοδεία από τις 20 Ιουλίου έως και τις 20 Αυγούστου στα νησιά Μύκονος, Σπέτσες και Ζάκυνθο, με σκοπό να διοργανώσουν μαθήματα tango καθώς και να παρουσιάσουν εντυπωσιακά shows σε επώνυμους χώρους διασκέδασης των νησιών. The non-profit Seresta Dance Company, with years of experience in the artistic arena, is planning the 2013 Hydra International Dance Workshops & Shows, including concerts, attracting important figures in the world of dance as instructors, culminating in the presentation of a collective work by all the artists. It will be held on the beautiful island of Hydra in the heart of the summer, from August 18th to 31st, 2013. At the end of the session, on September 5th, 6th and 7th, there will be three performances at the port of Hydra, free to the public under the patronage and support of the Municipality of Hydra. This major cultural event will be publicised through various media in Greece and abroad, through the social media and promotion by the Hydra Municipality. Preceding the workshop on Hydra, between July 20th and August 20th, the top dancers who brought the tango from Argentina to our country, the Argentinean duo Pablo Medici and Veronica Kuttel who are among the internationally best-known duos in the field will be on a tour performing at the islands of Mykonos, Spetses and Zakynthos, offering both stunning shows and tango lessons at local hotels and entertainment centres on the islands. It is worth mentioning the special relationship between Greece and Argentina, owed to the story of the Hydra-born national hero of Argentina, Nikolas Kolmaniatis (Nicola Jorge), ancestor of the benefactor of the School of Athanasiou Koulouras. Today on Hydra are two important monuments of Kolmaniatis, who fought the Spanish on behalf of the Argentineans in the war of 1814: a bas-relief of the hero between two females representing Greece and Argentina may be seen on the walls of the Merchant Marine Academy at the entrance to the town, and a bust on whose base is inscribed “Jorge”, which was donated by Evita Peron to the Historical Archive of Hydra in November, 1949. We are looking forward to join us at the lovely island of Hydra, where we will create together and live some unique and unforgettable moments lost to the magic of the art of dance! A message from Christina "I choreograph from the inside. Always it’s the music first. When the music moves me, I respond with movement. If it speaks to my heart, I need to reply in my own language, in dance. First -and always- I am a dancer, then a teacher, then a floor barre therapist, and then at last, dared to express my hearts’ desire in choreography. I’m moved by all kinds of different music; my first choreography was a ballad of Van Morrison’s called Don’t Look Back... then came a jazz piece of Louis Armstrong, and then Seresta, a transcendent Venezuelan waltz for six, which brought me notice as a choreographer. I worked for some time with tango-based experiments, and then moved into dance-drama. As opera is a synthesis of music, poetry and theatre, I feel that movement too must be also united with the whole. Music, song and dance have been intertwined since the world began. Now I am most deeply inspired by the music of Verdi, and my dearest wish is to mount a production of Rigoletto as a ballet, integrated with the opera. Η μη κερδοσκοπική εταιρεία Seresta Dance Company με πολυετή εμπειρία στον καλλιτεχνικό χώρο και με πολλά σεμινάρια και παραγωγές στο ενεργητικό της, έχει στόχο να διοργανώσει το «International Dance Workshop & Shows» Ύδρα 2013, προσελκύοντας μεγάλα ονόματα της τέχνης του χορού με στόχο την εκπαίδευση και την παρουσία μιας νέας συλλογικής δουλειάς όλων των καλλιτεχνών. Το workshop θα πραγματοποιηθεί στην όμορφη Ύδρα, 18-31 Αυγούστου 2013, μέσα στην καρδιά του καλοκαιριού. Mετά το τέλος του σεμιναρίου, 5-6-7 Σεπτεμβρίου θα πραγματοποιηθούν τρεις παραστάσεις στο λιμάνι του νησιού, δωρεάν για το κοινό υπό την Αιγίδα και την υποστήριξη του Δήμου Ύδρας. 
Αξίζει να αναφερθεί ότι οι ιδιαίτερες σχέσεις μεταξύ Ελλάδος-Αργεντινής μαρτυρούν της μεγάλη ιστορία του Υδραίου Εθνικού ήρωα της Αργεντινής, Νικόλαου Κολμανιάτη (Nicolas Jorje), πρόγονος του ευεργέτου της Σχολής Αθανασίου Κουλούρα. Σήμερα στην Ύδρα, δύο μεγάλα μνημεία μαρτυρούν την ιστορία του Κολμανιάτη ο οποίος πολέμησε από το 1814 στο πλευρό της Αργεντινής στον πόλεμο με τους Ισπανούς. Η μία είναι η ανάγλυφη επιγραφή στην είσοδο του νησιού, στη Σχολή Εμποροπλοιάρχων, όπου ο Κολμανιάτης απεικονίζεται ανάμεσα σε δύο όρθιες γυναίκες, που συμβολίζουν την Ελλάδα και την Αργεντινή. Η άλλη, μια προτομή, που στη βάση της αναγράφει "JORGE", την οποία η Εβίτα Περόν δώρισε τον Νοέμβριο του 1949 στο Ιστορικό Αρχείο και Μουσείο Ύδρας (ΙΑΜΥ).
